Girls and eyeglasses

Last days of summer I spent at my cousin’s Jenny. She is the type of girl who is definitely crazy about fashion and modern styles in clothes, accessories, shoes and other stuff that usually we demand from our boyfriends and then husbands. Do we really need all our stuff? Hardly! But there is one thing that makes us go shopping more often: if we see the same blouse or skirt on another girl - we rush to a clothes boutique to buy a new article of clothes just because we can not stand seeing our clothing on other girls. Men do not understand us so do I sometimes.

Anyway, I stayed at Jenny’s house in Miami and we spent several days just walking around the designer district there where hundreds of boutiques are offering the latest collections, like, for instance, Park Vogel clothing or KRMA clothes. But we were not just window shopping as we were looking for a nice pair of designer miami eyeglasses. Luckily there were some stores or they are better be called boutiques that had a wide choice of designer eyewear, like Ray Ban, Oliver Peoples, Prada and Chrome Hearts. Actually, I prefer Prada eyewear but think that even Mosley Tribes new models are really great and what is more they are really affordable!

The Techie Side of Beauty

Technology’s scope on people’s lives has gotten wider with the help of greatly designed cellular phones and other gadgets available up for grabs. If you would look closely, most of the beautiful people, especially in the entertainment business, have been but without great gadgets with them that adds up to how they appear in the society’s eyes. In the television series Gossip Girl, the fashion style and trends are really evident in there that fans of the show, as well as the critics, follow how the characters carry their style and fashion and really give a lot of attention on how they appear on TV and in real life.

What’s more interesting is the fact that all the gossips that they show always go through electronic gadgets like cell phones and emails. One tough break though, is the fact that good phones may not come cheap, although the good thing is that some network coverage providers such as safellink and other service providers have special promotions where they give free cell phones for specific plan coverage. This way, everyone can have the pleasure and luxury of looking mighty fine by flaunting your beautiful gadgets to the world and break barriers for yourself.

Trendy Bags for Grabs

One thing that separates men from women is fashion statement. Most men would rather have their stuff in dark and monotonous colors while women prefer their stuff colorful, flamboyant and always with a touch of femininity of course. It is also the same reason why it’s easier to buy women’s presents because of the wide range of choices up for grabs. One good example for this would be bags. A typical man’s bag would be the same old black bag that always resembles a suit case. Thanks for the latest style of laptop sleeves, men are not left with limited options for the same old boring bag. On the other hand, women’s laptop bags have made it to another fashion breakthrough.

This is one thing that fashion enthusiasts and collectors are thankful of. Imagine carrying a laptop with tote couture, fun, functional and totally adorable! Others come in glossy design, some floral and a lot more designs to choose from. Each has its own fashion statement catering for a person’s needs and preference. You might think they would cost you an arm and a leg, but surprisingly you can see a lot bags up for grabs online; cheaper and with more choices to choose from.

Mikimoto Pearls, which of course was made famous by the late great Mikimoto Kokichi, who was a Japanese businessman and adopter of the Mise / Nishikawa method for making of spherical cultured pearls, has made itself more accessible to the public, as it goes online with its very own Facebook page, where of course, you could get news and updates of their very famous products of pearls and jewelry. Unlike before where jewelry enthusiasts could only see it in their web site, now everyone can see what’s is new and what will we expect from their fine collections because the Facebook page will provide information on soon-to-be-released collections, videos, in-store events and a whole lot more. The opening of the said web page will allow the people, especially the fans of the product to have a more personal relationship with the Mikimoto Company, as they try to come up with some ways to make sure that they will easily get any feedbacks, suggestions and even customer reviews, as they make the name even bigger in the world of fashion. Mikimoto Kokichi will certainly be proud of what his creation has been able to accomplish, which will basically make him immortal in the world of fashion.

Celebrity Fashion Equals Versace

When it comes to celebrity fashion, there is always a room for Versace gowns along the way, especially when there are special occasions happening around the world. Take Gisele Bundchen (the highest-paid model in the world) for example, she was spotted at the Rainforest Alliance Gala wearing a slinky Versace gown that looked so elegant, with the shade of a metallic dark gray long gown, which is included in the Versace Fall 2009 RTW Silk Gown collection. Another one is Christina Ricci, who we remember wearing an Atelier Versace gown for the 2008 Whitney Museum of American Art Gala that was very much a work of art, with its 1920s art-deco detail. And of course, who would forget Angelina Jolie’s Atelier Versace dress from 2009 Golden Globe Awards? She was able to carry it beautifully and looked really stunning. Personally, I would stick with the one strap dress as I find them really sexy and easy to wear. My personal favorite is the Versace Draped One-Shoulder Dress, where it is 83% viscose and 17% silk twisted single shoulder strap, which has an elegantly draped neckline, with multi-seamed band run from shoulder to hemline, daring front slit that measures 12″, folded hem, hidden rear zipper, slim and fitted silhouette that was made in Italy.

Jackson Fashion

These past few weeks everyone was in shock in hearing about the sudden death of Michael Jackson. I didn’t want to believe it because at the back of my mind there was still some more he could have offered for the music industry. He is a true legend as it is and I don’t think there would be another star like him who would ever be this famous in a long time. Maybe it was for the best, imagine Michael Jackson getting old? I can’t imagine he should be remembered like this, young when he was still the Jackson Five or The Jackson’s and Michael Jackson the pop icon.

With this were going to miss also his sense of fashion, his one of a kind costume that is solely identified his. The shining costumes made especially for him made of materials that only he could have imagine, one example is using wrappers of gum which is the shiny part and have it made into one of his famous costume. Another identifying mark is the wearing of white socks with black pants and of course the famous gloves, whether it’s the white gloves or the one designed with sequins. It’s not the typical male clothing to follow when it comes to fashion but this is Michael Jackson, the icon, the legend were surely going to miss.

Shop till you drop, you might want to call me that. I find shopping a source of therapy, it helps me relax you might say after a hectic day of work. It’s a form of release that helps me relive of my stress, though sometimes it doesn’t apply to everyone I guess. It’s the feeling of the hunt in finding a good buy or a bargain. Some say its an addiction, it becomes an addiction if you cant control it and as long as you buy things within the budget your not an addict.

Some of us have different passions; it could be bags, shoes, clothes or even jewelry. It’s a matter of how you’re just going to put things together. You can add more statement to your outfit even if it’s just a simple one by accessories, this could be with the right choice of hand bags, shoes or jewelry it’s a matter of mix or match. Just make sure not to overdo things it should look expensive and not overdone.

When shopping for the latest fashion for summer again you don’t need to go overboard and buy new things. You can still stick to the basics; loose fitting clothes in bright colors just match it with flip flops and jewelry again for accessory. Another outfit is find your old skimpy shorts and match it with an oversized blouse, and of course fashion for summer wouldn’t be the same if you don’t own a bikini or a swimsuit. Again look for expensive ones that will last you for a long time and find one that you know that won’t go out of style easily. Remember it’s the hunt of finding the good buy that makes shopping satisfying.
